Governance
The Oceanography Society Council
The Council is The Oceanography Society's governing body and is responsible for directing the affairs and determining the future of the Society. Elections for two of the nine council positions are held each year, and the election for president-elect is held in even-numbered years.
Officers
The Secretary and the Treasurer are appointed by the President and are not elected positions.
