Citizen Science Project Aims to Channel Ocean Temperature Data From Scuba Divers to Scientists. www.divers4oceanography.org is a newly established platform to collect scuba dive computer data in order to build long-running archives for temperature observations of the coastal ocean. The goal of the project is to aggregate temperature data from recreational, scientific, and technical divers all around the world and make these data available for download free of charge. We would like to hear from you—if such temperature data were available, how could you use it for your project? Data from which dive sites around would help your project the most? Do you have other questions or suggestions? Please write to Derya Akkaynak (divers4oceanography@gmail.com).
