During the TOS breakfast at the 2014 Ocean Sciences Meeting, TOS members and friends celebrated the achievements of colleagues selected recently as Fellows of The Oceanography Society. In addition to recognizing the new Fellows, Steven Holbrook was recognized as the most recent recipient of the Walter Munk Award, and Mel Briscoe was thanked for his many years of service as TOS co-chair for the 2012 and 2014 Ocean Sciences Meetings. Special guests invited to this year’s TOS breakfast included participants in the OSM Mentoring Programs. TOS would like to thank Sea-Bird Scientific for its generous support of this event.
