All TOS members will continue to receive a printed copy of each issue of Oceanography. If you would prefer to cancel your printed copy and receive only the electronic editions, send a message requesting electronic delivery only to jenny@tos.org. If you have not specifically requested cancellation of the printed copies, you will continue to receive printed issues via the US Postal Service shortly after publication of each issue.
Instructions for viewing the electronic editions of Oceanography will be provided to all TOS members via email prior to publication of each issue (March, July, September, and December of each year).

Interactive PDFs
TOS members may view full issues of Oceanography in a web browser or download PDFs by going to the Qmags website (be sure to login using your email address and the password provided by Qmags). Non-members may purchase individual electronic issues on the Qmags Oceanography page.

iPad App
The iPad version of Oceanography is available to all TOS members as a benefit of membership. Simply follow the directions below to install the Oceanography app. Non-members may purchase individual issues after installing the app.
To download the app, please follow these steps:
Step 1: From an iPad, click on this link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/oceanography/id585601442?ls=1&mt=8
If the link does not work, go to the App Store, and search for Oceanography (look for the TOS logo). Install the app.
Step 2: From the app welcome page, you will be asked to enter your user ID and password. This is the same login information that you use to access the other electronic versions of Oceanography. This login information was provided via email to all active TOS members on 12/18/2012 from Qmags (distribution@qMags.com). The user ID is the email address on file with TOS, and the password was generated by Qmags. There is a password recovery tool on the welcome page in case you cannot find your login information. Contact Jenny (jenny@tos.org) if you are having difficulties. For those members who joined TOS after December 18, 2012, you will receive your login information prior to publication of the next issue of the magazine (in March, July, September and December of each year).
Step 3: After successfully logging in, issues of Oceanography will appear in your library. Click on the cover of the desired issues to download them to your iPad.

Additional Apps
We plan to develop Oceanography apps for other mobile platforms in the near future; an Android app seems to be the next logical step, but we would like to hear suggestions from TOS members on this topic. Please send ideas, comments or questions to Jenny Ramarui (jenny@tos.org).
